Matthew Cross is a visionary businessman and educational theorist. His mission is the restoration of leadership at all levels, in support of the best future for individuals, organizations and the planet.

He is the Founder and President of Leadership Alliance, an organization providing breakthrough strategies for growth and transformation. Cross brings over 20 years of professional experience in educational training, management and consulting to this endeavor. He was a founding partner of American Credit Systems, a nationwide marketing organization that has generated over $250 million in revenues for clients including Sears, JCPenney, Discover Card and Visa, and played a strategic role in the nationwide launch of the Discover Card.

Mr. Cross also developed and led the breakthrough marketing initiative for the launch of the Greenpeace Gift Collection. Prior to forming Leadership Alliance, Cross was senior partner in a nationwide quality-consulting consortium, working with clients that included ITT Sheraton and the Hawaiian Public Education System.

Mr. Cross is in high demand as a presenter and trainer for his dynamic ability to reveal hidden opportunities for rapid transformation and the “straight line” to success. He lectures on Dr. Deming’s Profound Knowledge and renowned quality methods in Europe and America and has been called a Deming Scholar. Cross was also involved in the Emergent Education Initiative (EEI) and led the initial strategic planning process at one of only two Student Chartered Schools in the State of Hawaii. This school was later invited by the National Education Association (NEA) to become one of only five schools in the nation to be networked as an “NEA Charter School.” Matthew has created and presents internationally acclaimed workshop programs, including: Hoshin-LifeMAP™, SuccessMAP™, CareerMAP™, TeamMAP™, Aligned Communication Training, Power of SuperLearning and The Personal Quality System (PERQS™).
